I am hearing an unusual droning noise at the moment, turns out it's an Antonov AN-12 belonging to some Ukrainian opertion. Solid cloud of course so can't see anything.

It's used by the same local Cork billionaire who previously used the A319CL G-NOAH, G-KELT an A320neo is its replacement.

So is there a stable down the back? :pac:

Fingal County Council are certainly not competent to be making decisions about the most important piece of infrastructure on the island. They need to stick to badly designed cycle lanes and deciding on whether Mrs Murphy can have her kitchen extension.

Lots of helicopter activity over south Dublin this afternoon so I had a look at flightradar24 and noticed that flight DB241 from Bournemouth to New York was diverted to Shannon, landing at about 15.20. It left again at 16.50. Anyone know why it diverted? Nothing to be found by googling.

Ups248 takeoff from Dub to Shannon has returned to Dublin with a quick turnaround.
Person I know who lives close to runway said there was a large bang.

Lost an engine so that would explain the bang.

I was following a air corps 139 on ADSBexchange from Dublin to the fermanagh border. It seam to be only showing now and again. Is that it dipping below radar or what would cause it not to not be constant to seen along its route on ADSBexchange?
