Wow! This has fallen nicely for me!

Wham - Last Christmas VS Frank Sinatra - Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - Pleasant tune with a good set of lungs beats an overplayed song that I can just about tolerate at this stage!

The Pogues and Kirsty McCall - Fairytale of New York VS Bing Crosby and David Bowie - Peace on Earth - No contest here. Wonderful duet and sweet arrangement beats a by now boring song!

Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday VS Eartha Kitt - Santa Baby - Pleasant background type music beats an overplayed boring song!

Dean Martin - Let it Snow VS Slade - Merry Christmas Everybody - Nice laidback background tune beats an overplayed and frankly boring tune!

No! Unfortunately. The songs listed in the posts above are the final eight left, i.e. the quarter finalists.

I was seriously put to the test last night when the real winner 'Its Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas' went out :(
It's not even my favourite song, but I feel it suits well as the winner.

Picked myself up though, licked my wounds, & I'm ready to pick the chirpiest chirpy chirp song now :pac:

Can you break that down sloooowly please

Wham - Last Christmas 11 10 Frank Sinatra - Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
The Pogues and Kirsty McCall - Fairytale of New York 12 9 Bing Crosby and David Bowie - Peace on Earth
Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday 11 10 Eartha Kitt -  Santa Baby
Dean Martin - Let it Snow 11 11 Slade - Merry Christmas Everybody

Incredibly close matches one and all. Two matches decided by a single vote.

We also have a tie which I will resolve momentarily.... Let the canvassing commence :P
