Disposing of ashes

    How does cremation work if the person has no family to take the ashes, is it possible to have the crematorium dispose of ity as part ofthe service

    The body is burnt at a later date to the service.

    depending on the cemetery, the next of kin will have chosen where to put the ashes.
    Normally there will be a place where they can be put when ready.

    Depending on the plans made, the cemetery will just put them in their spot or family can be present.

    Glasnevin have a rose garden or wall.

    They can of course be collected and taken home.
