Just went on the discussion in stock informer. UK Argos a load of people were able to order a few hours ago but apparently its a another Littlewoods and they all expect to get refunds. Click on "discuss" to read the comments

In uk to order you need have another product in trolley and then add ps5. But in ireland you could just add consol and reserved

I just managed to get mine in Newry Argos about 30 minutes ago. Payment went through and received an email to collect today.

I was refreshing constantly and site had out of stock.

Tesco Littlewoods and now Argos - I was so hoping for 3rd time lucky.

Hi, sorry just to ask, I know I'm probably repeating what's already been discussed!

If you get an email with a reservation code but also a text text saying :

"Thank you for your reservation xxxxxx at xxxxxx store. We will text you again when it arrives in store. To limit the number of customers in our stores, you may need to queue before entering to collect your Argos order."

Does that mean successful?

Noticed UK Smyths store, on the disc Version, it Says "available in store only" I'm assuming if you live in the UK you just queue up and first come first served...?

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

This is very different to the Series X launch, where stock was allocated to different stores, and people had to grab stock from wherever they could. In this case, everyone could reserve for their closest one. My feeling is this might have been set up for staff to reserve stock before the stock allocations were done to stores?

I'd be surprised if it's more than a few hundred that got reserved, which seems way too low a number for a shipment.

I'm thinking possibly, only if they allowed a certain number. Normal practice seems to be going out the window with this one!
