Just installed update on PS4 and tried to open game. Got a message “servers are really busy. Estimated wait time to a game 2 mins” and now I’m stuck waiting at the splash screen with press X to start.

Haha just posted same thing. Guess the games will be laggy as f*ck so. How does a company the size of activision and Trey arch not have servers sized correctly.

Bit of a joke considering the money they make from it plus most of them lump multiple games onto the one server.
I did have a game of zombies after the update so it was working. Jumped off then for grub n a cuppa n now queues.

Didn't realise there was an update. The young fella switched it on a while ago. The internet is ropey here...it's saying 10hrs. Fúck it anyway. I was looking forward to a late night shooting baddies.

Anyone playing on PS5 noticed that the ray tracing toggle doesn't seem to change anything? I've set obsessing over it for ages now checking settings etc. I've the Ps5 set to favour fidelity, but just can't see any difference when toggling ray tracing on and off in game.

Anyone else have an issue where they can’t call in streaks. For example call ina care package and the sentry gun is unavailable. Then you resplendent and it’s available. Happened repeatedly tonight.

Game is way too laggy for me at the moment. very unenjoyable for me, stuttering gameplay, all other online games play grand for me, so it must be their servers....

it's why I stopped playing Treyarch games, early on in Blops 2 I threw my controller at a wall and that was that.
tbh I'm unsure if my IW fanboyism makes me see it but I've always had that feeling with their games

IW games always seem more stable, I've encountered very little lag on Ghosts Infinite Warfare or Modern Warfare plus the graphics and sound always way better then Treyarch.
Still think this is way better then Black Ops 4. Hopefully it will improve over the next few months

Unplayable for me unfortunately.
Either zombies or mp and my PS5 crashes.

But when it works , it's great fun, no issues apart from the crashing.

Playing Demon's Souls only and no issues at all today.
This includes leaving it on, watching football, eating and when I go back all is well.

Has crashed completely (the game not the ps5) for me twice now whilst playing zombies. Horrible FPS drops playing MP too (1080p)

Cross platform is screwed too, people on xbox/pc constantly sound like robots, cannot join succesfully and have to restart the games multiple times to get it sorted. Nightmare.

Yep, MP has been crashing loads for me too. Thought it was PS5 at first but a quick search put that to bed thankfully.

I haven't experienced any crashes on PC yet thankfully

I play with friends on Xbox and the in game chat audio is garbage.

For anyone else cross-playing between Xbox and PC, we solved the problem by switching to Xbox chat instead and it's absolutely crystal clear now so we don't use the in game chat anymore.

I don't recall consciously installing it but it's called 'Xbox Social' and I bring up the interface by pressing 'Windows button + G' and partying up from there

On the issues joining each other's party lobbies in game, it is a bit iffy but whenever I invite them to me it has worked fine. Xbox lads inviting me doesn't seem to work though

it was always crashing for me on series x. upon further investigation, it was because i downloaded the xbox 1 version, rather than the series X/S edition. how when i go to the xbox store on the series X, they offer the xbox 1 version?

may be the reason for other people's issue.

i'm finding the game a struggle. its all gung ho from the get-go. i just wanna relax and play a few games. dont like the maps either. where are the nice 3 lane maps? too many lines of sight.

I thought the opposite was the case. To me this game seems like mostly a return to the 3-lane template

Off the top of my head I'd say Crossroads, Moscow, Cartel, Checkmate, Garrison

Armada you could consider 4-lane given the verticality on both sides and Satellite is just a bit of a mess

The zombies in this is actually really engaging, haven't had this much fun since Blops1, and the first time I played any zombies mode since Blops2. That you progress in MP and get gun unlocks is nice too.

I've heard really good things about Zombies. I loved Ascension from BO1 but nothing else came close for me.

The dwxp should be a godsend. I'm currently grinding out levels on the RPD for my sins trying to unlock that +100% bullet velocity barrel @ level 49

Zombies is class, enjoying that way more than MP.

I’m on PS5 trying to play with lads on xbox, the party’s are an absolute nightmare. 90% of the time I get the Unable to join party (3) , both have to close the game completely and re launch and get it to work.

Unfortunately it's not 24/7 on hardcore, only in rotation.
