The Government funding for the Railway Station and Bridge is great news. Planning has been secured, etc so now it's upto the Developers to purchase the site and make the proposal financially viable. It's a great proposal in many ways but I still have my doubts about the viability of the retail element and the apartments in the short term. Unfortunately the spokesman for the developers makes claims at times that border on the ludicrous but we'll see pretty shortly the manner in which they proceed.
