Recovering deleted items in windows

Apologies if this has been covered here before. But, i'm trying to find out if there's any freeware software out there that will allow you to recover items after they were emptied out of the recycle bin??? Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks, P.

I have a trail copy of winternals Recovery manager which is excellent for that. Its a 30 day trial...I can post it to you or you can collect it in dun laoghaire.
