I'm glued to the election for sure but the coverage is more suitable for a sporting event.

Not as bad as I thought all the same - just overly dramatic.

I'm increasingly convinced cable news learned a lot from the Casino business. Blinding lights, constant stream of different noises, even throwing to different people around the room to keep grabbing your attention. Hours will pass, you won't actually learn any more information, but you nonetheless can't turn away. If Murdoch/Turner could pump oxygen into your house and bring you free drinks they would.

His lead in Georgia is down to just 665 votes. Given everything we are seeing in Pennsylvania Biden is on track to win there by 50,000 - 100,000 votes so none of the other States matternat this stage, but given the legal challenges to come, the more States he has by the largest margins he can get the better.

I have a mate that we still occasionally take the piss out of because when we were 6 or 7 if he was beaten at sport he used to tell us that what we had done must be illegal.

I see trump has been strategising with 6 year olds on how to contest the election results.

Biden has taken the lead in Georgia. Mad stuff.

Absolutely raging that we have to play them first up in this autumn competition they’re going to be on a massive high

Georgia and Nevada are going to be thin majorities for Biden.

Not sure what's likely to happen in Arizona but there is no data suggesting it's going to end up that close.

Pennsylvania looks like it's not going to be close at all.

No certainties above but probably more likely Biden takes Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Nevada.

Biden is 1/12 now to win. It's over.

Biden is 1/40 now to win. It's over.

If I had one wish for today, it'd be for Fox to call Pennsylvanian and thus, the election, for Biden. The resulting tweet storm may actually break Twitter, which would be an added little bonus.

Fox have already set a precedent for calling a race early so it's not impossible.

Once it's in the bag beyond doubt in Pennsylvania I'll relax about the whole thing.

This week we had the wife of a far right party be openly racists against the Mayor of Dublin, we have former mainstream journalists engaging in extreme far right rhetoric and we've thousands attending anti mask protests for god only knows what reasons.

I feel that none of this sort of thing happened as overtly before Trump. Can only hope America starts projecting a bit of decency again for the next four years before things get really ugly and divided.

think it says a lot about the standard of rat****ers in the current GOP that it was this close and they couldn’t pull off the steal. frankly just embarrassing.

Trump is a symptom, not a cause. The far right issue is not going away any time soon.

He may well be a convicted felon by then, which would rule him out of running. Fingers crossed, anyway!

i would be absolutely stunned if Trump didn’t run again in 2024.

If he's still upright I'm sure he'll try but there is also the significant legal jeopardy he is in and remember - Biden can declassify whatever he wants when in office and Trump is already an unnamed co-conspirator.

He used the office as a shield - that shield is about to be taken away. He could be in jail in 2024.

My concern now is someone or a group making an attempt on Biden. After the Michigan State House, the plot to kidnap the Michigan Governor and the militia that was intercepted on it's way to the Pennsylvania convention centre - I think there are definitely groups out there who wont accept this and will take action.

But Biden will win the election now, it's game over for Trump.
