I'm not sure. I think Trump votes comes from two camps. There are his cult like fans just following the hype, personality, showbiz aspect. Those people are clowns pure and simple. Then there are Republicans voters who probably despise Trump but can't countenance the idea of a democrat.
Biden, as a relative moderate candidate, was probably the best bet to lure those type of voters, but many still have the crazy notion that he is somehow socialist.

There is the third group. Extremely wealthy people who will vote for Trump as his policies substantially reduce their tax burden.

I'm trying to see if there's 61k votes left to split between the candidates or 200k to be split?

i dont know. per NYT ~200k left to be counted and reported on.

if 140k of those have been counted but not reported on, it doesn't really matter as the ratio will be largely the same.

If there's really 200k left in Georgia, then it's likely Biden has it in the bag. He'd only need 55% of those.

Did yer man from Fulton County on CNN just say that 140k votes had just been sent over for tabulation?

I'd argue that spitting in someones face is just as bad. A vile thing to do to anyone especially given the last 12 months. Disgusting.

Well that would line up with the 60k still to be counted = 200k

    I think so.

CNN just spent the past hour on how Biden needs 70% to win, basing that on 61k.

So anything between 61k and 261k left in Georgia.

    :pac:

CNN saying 9k from Fulton are being tabulated, so maybe it is only 60k left.

Very confusing, they should be showing 99% reported for the state, not 96%. There's a massive difference.

Georgia is a huge state in many ways, it also holds the key to senate majority as the two senate seats will go into a run off and Dems win them both and Biden wins white house then Kamala Harris holds the casting vote

    Thats huge

Looks like AP updated the map a few minutes ago, now showing 99% but with no change in the number of votes.

I had CNN on in the car and their whole discussion was on GA having 61k votes left to count as if GA only had 61k votes left to report.

I was thinking that if there's more results than that (the 200k?) left to report they're gonna be feeding the conspriracists.

It was simply they could observe the counting from 6 feet rather than 20 feet or something

Trump leading 8 to 3 so far.

And those hairy chicken legs of Biden, are about to become fried chicken too! :D

So, team Trump have apparently scored a 'big legal win' in a State his party legislated could not count mail-in ballots until after election day.

You can see why people are getting somewhat mixed messages from the Republicans...
