    This season is mental

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,810 ✭✭✭✭siblers

Season is crap, what’s the point in having defenders?

Chelsea, Wolves and possibly City only look decent defensively.

Every other team is pot luck as to whether they might keep a clean sheet

Arsenal are solid but always seem to conceed

That 15 pointer was coming for Grealish, he's been excellent the last few games.

DCL a one trick pony. Lethal off crosses. Not up to much otherwise. Unlikely to be many crosses from Everton today.

Zaha / Grealish .. it really is a perfect mix!! Both hitting big hauls

Can't remember if was you that was going with both of them? It's probably a decent strategy given that's price points/returns

Disappointing they both are not on penalties though anymore.

Well Zaha has taken them for Palace this season though? And Mili got himself suspended for next 3 games so who else is there to take them?
However as a Watkins owner i'm happy to see he takes them :D

Ayew? He took them before I think?

Batman has taken his place by looks of things.

Either way Zaha/Grealish are central to games where Villa/Palace win or score.
I may just do Jorginho to Grealish - or WC and sort out the defence -

I forgot Mili was sent off, he was gonna take the peno yesterday that got ruled out for offside.

Without Digne, Coleman & Rodriguez I wouldn't fancy him for this GW.

Which means DCL Hatrick incoming lads

We'll be lucky to have 3 shots on target mate.

Wonder will DCL be the Wilson of this season, return in first 6/7 games of season and then do nothing.

It's only when they are missing that you see the work that Ricky, Hamez do, and without them DCL doesn't do quite as well.

That'd be the same for pretty much every striker when you take away their two main assisters

Nah, I think he’ll be better than that. He’s lethal from one type of situation but isn’t going to score much variety in his goals like Bamford. Can one player score 15-20 goals from crosses in a single season. Possibly, especially if Digne keeps fit. He’s far too good a left back for Everton in my opinion.

He does have a streaky nature to him. At least he used to.
