In all fairness I didn`t say he wasn`t up to much. I said he wasn`t as good as the father and very few are.

Yep, a few wayward ones before that, over the sideline and to Tyrone players. He's been having a nightmare.

Goalie is the most important position. Kickouts are the most important part of that in the modern game.

Even the underage team I help manage know this. We have a brilliant showstopper of a keeper but his kickouts were woeful. No level of attention and practice was improving them.

We converted an outfield player and ended up with three trophies this year because of that decision.

I prefer a keeper who can stop goals. Just my opinion.
