Changing alarm code - Aritech Alarm?

    Hi,
    I've just recently moved into a house (I'm the home owner) and I want to change the arm/disarm code on the alarm,

    It's an Aritech alarm,

    I looked up the manual and it said menu # 5 is to change the code. I pressed 5 on the alarm panel and it asked me for a code, I entered the current arm/disarm code and it said that was incorrect,

    Does anyone know how to change the code on this type of alarm?

    A code change like that would probably have to altered in Engineer Mode.

    When you put in your code, does the system begin to arm or do you have to press any other buttons ?
