Tuned in earlier on for five minutes and heard a load of gob****es telling Brendo that a variety of voices should be heard but that that a variety of voices shouldn't be heard, and that questions should be allowed but no questions should be allowed, and that nephet should be questioned but that nephet should not be questioned. Marvellous.

    Really, what did she say?

It wasn't what she said, it was more the way she said it.

    Really, what did she say?

Paraphrasing(it's not worth a second listen) but it was along the lines of it being shameful how politicians and others are criticising NPHET to benefit themselves , look at page 2(?) of the Indo there's Ciara Kellys article...

Emptytree is spot on re the way it was said as well.

Personally thought Alison was very good today on the show.

Dickey Rock's wife has a knee operation.
    Cutting edge stuff.

Could they not have got a better line without a delay?

    Bessie. I'm out.

Hes a much much better lightweight acting like a big thinker than Tubridy.

Mental health lectures may not be paying the Bill's anymore, a fighter for media truth and integrity next?

Edit: on reflection he wasnt that bad, as they go.

From a singer in a band to some kind of life coach....like Amanda Byram last week. Marian always had a healthy dose of cynicism...wouldn't have lapped this sh1te up the way BOC does.

Another Z lister attention seeker thinking anyone gives a flying fook what nonsense they spout..

It's very reassuring that, in these uncertain times, we have Bressie to impart his infinite wisdom

Awful bang of attention seeking from bressie making sure everyone heard this “rumour”

    Andrea smyth... No idea either

I remember her, she is the woman who debated Katie Hopkins on obesity on the Late Late Show a few years back.

Don't know, but I'm sure she'll be on again in a few months to plug a life skills book or podcast and to advise us all on how to live...just like Bressie and Amanda.

Michael McDowell will be getting stuck in to Sam McConkey - that should be good.

BOC to Katie Hannon..."What's driving people bananas today?"

    Maybe your show, Brendan...

What is rte obsession with all things Ballymaloe?

Most other places that had THAT history associated with their name would not be touched by any media outlet, but rte seem to be more than happy to deal with them and give them plenty of free publicity.

I, like a lot of people don't have a great deal of time for Brezzie but I thought he made some decent points today and then some poor ones. Especially about malicious rumours citing the Maurice McCabe example, this has been forgotten about too quickly imo and of course, there has been no consequences for those involved so they are free to go on ruining peoples lives.

He lost me when he started sticking up for Jameel Jamil & Meghan Markle though.

Brendan O'Connor doesnt hold a candle to Marian Finuncane, a poor replacement if there ever was one, seems like a country cork buck who got lucky and hit the big time, nothing interesting or worthwhile about him at all. Fairly ignorant on a number of issues he chats about too.

The current crop of presentators on both Rte and Rte radio are piss poor generally, Ryan Tubridy, Claire Byrne, Brendan O'Connor, Ray Darcy all just meh!!!

Gone are the days of Gay Byrne, Marian Finuncane, Pat Kenny, Mike Murphy etc.

One minute she was in mabs, the next she's going to be mortgage free. I lol'd, sweet deal.

Rory is a world class TV chef.

A kind of Irish Nigel Slater.

RTE are lucky to have him.
