Gioteck Controller

Hi,

Sorry but I dont have much of a clue about these things but My daughter has just bought a Nintendo Switch out of her communion money and we are looking to buy another set of controllers. How good are the Gioteck controllers or is it worth it to spend the extra on the official nintendo controllers?

cheaper third-party controllers used to be rubbish when the switch first came out

now you can get decent ones for not much money

i have a couple of these and it's pretty decent overall - under £20 on Amazon prime each

feels good to use. lasts about 5 hours for wireless use when charged (usb charge)

has gyro, shock etc but does not have NFC for amiibo (but right joy-cons have that anyway if needed)

will also be recognised as an xbox 360 controller if attached to a pc by cable

Thanks very much for that. To be honest not looking for it to be able to do too much rather than allow her to play multiplayer games with her brother where 2 dual controllers are needed, so it sounds like this would definitely work.

Just got this in the post yesterday - Definitely a bit plasticky and short on heft but it works perfectly and is ideal as a second full controller for 2-player stuff for very little cost (single joycon play is cramp inducing for my big mitts).

Have yet to really test the analog sticks in a meaningful way (I had a third party controller for the WiiU and the stick dead zones made BOTW pure hardship, so this is always on my mind)
