Sanwa RD6000 Transmitter help

HI, I have two Sanwa transmitters, an RD6000 sport and a RD6000 super. I have two receivers RX511. I had a problem with a battery and replaced it, not realising there was a polarity difference. Now I am not getting any transmission to the servos. Can anyone recommend someone to have a look at them or am I better upgrading…

the receiver battery was polarity reversed or the transmitter?
