New Server Info

Right,
Managed to get us allowance so that we won't be g-lined, or k-lined from this server...If we need more connections, easily gotten.

Server Info:
irc.phishy.net

... that is main group ...if doesn't connect well then can try
indigo.phishy.net
corinthian.phishy.net
ireland.phishy.net

their main two servers of irc.phishy.net [typing /server irc.phishy.net will connect you to one of those servers usually ... if for some reason irc.phishy.net doesn't work ... try one of alternatives i've posted - it's rare that it doesn't work however]

Firewall info for mIRC

file => options => connect => firewall

Firewall Support :
Both

Protocol :
Proxy

Hostname : Proxy
User : <Leave Blank>
Password <Leave Blank>
Port : 8080
[change it from 1080 to 8080]

press ok, and thats it ... then just type /server irc.phishy.net
to connect.

To Register Nickname:
Unlike QuakeNet ... Phishy uses your currently used nickname as registration
so to register initially ... do
/nick <nick>
where <nick> is the nickname you want to register/use
then when appropiate nick is selected type
/nickserv register <password>
where <password> is your password

If you want to register more than one nick ... i.e. you use more than one nick ...
change to alternative nick you use ... again by
/nick <alt_nick>
and then type
/nickserv link <nick> <pass>

where <nick> is your orignally regged nick
and <pass> is the pass you chose for your orignally regged nick.

when you login to server normally then ... to identify/login with nickserv type
/nickserv ID <pass>
while your currently chosen nick is one of the nick's you regged.

This should deal with 90% of problems .. there is multiple other services, and features, however can use /nickserv help
or /chanserv help to play around with them ... and find out.
