Saw some news reports this weekend saying that post Brexit residents of EU countries cannot hold a bank account in UK
Just wondering how people who work North of border and live in Republic are planning to manage salary if this comes into being.
Presume getting paid into a Euro bank account would be have delays, high charges and cannot control the exchange rate used at time of transfer.
Maybe a bank here can give a GBP bank account.

Tens of thousands of British expats who live in Europe risk having their UK bank accounts closed 'in weeks' due to post-Brexit rules.

Lloyds, Barclays and Coutts are among a number of UK banks that have starting giving notice to expatriate customers to say they will close their accounts at 11pm on December 31.
