MiTV Stick & Wireless Keyboard issue

Can anyone advise on what I'm doing wrong here... My wireless keyboard works fine on the smart TV, but the MiTV stick is not picking it up. According to various websites and videos online, it should automatically recognise it. For further info, my smart TV is a Toshiba, with limited apps, which is why I added the MiTV…

maybe you need Bluetooth keyboard
