Was chatting spuds w/ the OH the other week and we both commented it's been years since we saw a record. Are they still grown here? Anywhere selling them?

They can be got but they're hard found. We tend to get seed when we can & grow them ourselves. Farmers market might be the best place to try for them.

    A good yalla spud!

Most potatoes sold retail come from Ireland or, in winter, places like Cyprus.

Its food service that imports from the UK. Maris Pipers which are not grown to any great extent here for chips particularly.
