luttrellstown castle - walk or cycle through

Google maps is showing that I can walk through the luttrellstown castle estate.. Is this correct. The gates dont look so public. Is the grounds open during our covid lockdown?

When my girlfriend and I went out there on evening earlier in the year (pre Covid ) there was a security guard in the car park where the wooden golf club building is. We just wanted to come for a walk and he chased us! Told us to leave.

Maybe we drove into the wrong area
