Laptop Recommendations for IT / Computer Science Student.

    Another recommendation request as I'm soon to start a new L8 degree in Computer Science & IT.
    My 10 year olds Samsung is just about holding in there but I'll really need something more suitable & reliable over the next 2 years and beyond.
    Outside of college requirements I'll use it for some video/photo editing and then the usual streaming/browsing etc.
    Not sure of budget, day 500 - 800ish.
    Any suggestions greatly appreciated folks!!
