Using an old router to extend wifi

Can anyone point me.to a step by step guide on how to do this.
The old router is a huwai hg658c. Basically I want to extend the WiFi so it reaches another part of the building. I am using network plugs to get internet in the part the WiFi won't reach if I connect the ethernet cable into the old router what settings do I need to change.

What you are looking to do is set one router into bridge mode

Ok it looks like I have managed that. Now I put the ethernet cable into the wan port and what's next. I haven't a scooby what I'm at to be honest.

Can your Internet provider talk you through it? I'm with digiweb, and they helped me set up a fritz box repeater.

I'm doing exactly the same completely successfully with two old eircon routers.

I know yours is huawei but this might help....
