Foods you never liked the look of

    I'm pushing 40 in age and I have never eaten an avacado until about a week ago. I just never liked the look of them.

    I don't know what made me try one but I can't stop eating them now.

    So is anyone else like me, never tried food because of how it looks?

    Yes, curry and cheese is just wrong. I’ll have cheese, on chips, curry too but both together, grim.

    Fish, I HATE fish, before you look at it, the stink, then you look at it and it and the state of it, slimy and shiny, scaley even, the texture ughhhh.

    Oh fish, I love tuna and salmon but anything else makes me sick. My housemate cooks fish and it smells like a rotten, mouldy mop and it stinks up the house. I was tearing up the house one day thinking the cat was hiding a dead bird somewhere in the house but it turned out it was his fish. Yuk.

    Eggs.. Fried, scrambled, poached etc. I hate the things. Boiled eggs have to be worst. Why somebody would cook and eat something that smells like a rotten fart is beyond me.

    Housemate eats a boiled egg most mornings - my god they stink and I like eggs but...

    Noting. I'm known to have a voracious appetite. I'll eat anything, if you cook it up properly. It's not that hard, but of course noone knows how to cook anymore.

    Boiled chicken feet. Four of them, standing in the middle of the plate looking back at me.

    They're a delicacy in Jamaica but sometimes you have to set limits.

    Also, anything like tripe, brain, lungs, lips, eyeballs, anus... except for a well made, small farm artisanal sausage, I could easily be vegetarian.

    oh i don't like porridge or pasta either ....i think its because spag bol looks like worms and muck..also the texture of paste is weird

    This. A million times this. I can't even bring myself to wash the pot after my wife does scrambled eggs. I can eat meringue, mayonnaise, cakes, pancakes, but not straight up eggs.

    Even the kids eat them, but they know that "Daddy doesn't egg"
