Hi guys,i have a hp chromebook and its not holding a charge.

When i plug in the cable its works grand but it wont charge and when i disconnect the cable it turns off(no power).

I have done some research and it seems to be a hardware issue rather the battery,i checked the battery and every thing seems ok with it,for some reason it wont hold the charge.

I have powerwashed the chromebook and still i have the same problem,i have heard suggestions of a hard reset but cant seem to be able to do that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    It's Chrome as in metal.

Laptops always have battery problems. They die and need to be replaced.

You're lucky it's a Chromebook - they are made to be easy to repair.

You will need to google the model number and see if you can find a replacement battery on say eBay.

Then you open it with a screwdriver and replace the battery. It's not rocket science.
