Have you ever asked for feedback on a job interview?

If so, how did you phrase same?
    Thank you.

After being told you didn't get the job like?

    Something like:
"Many thanks for your email. While I am disappointed to hear that I didn't secure the role, I would appreciate the opportunity to get some honest feedback as I remain interested to work with X company in the future. Your feedback and observations are welcomed in order to improve my interview performance in the future."

Basically arse-licking as they don't have to tell you anything so the nicer you are the more likely you are to get it :)

I ask quite a lot. It's a good way to learn where you improve. Remember just because they didn't give you the job doesn't mean they're the enemy.

It could simply be someone had that extra years experience. If you're polite and ask they are usually accommodating unless they are absolutely snowed under with work.

    Best of luck

I've asked, as a teacher you are entitled to the feedback from interviewers when you apply for a post. It was helpful and I got the post the second time.
