    This times a million

It's the exact reason it's happened so quickly.

Yeah but there were loads of Gardai at the event so it will appear stupid.

So you and your Mensa pals would have preferred if this high profile breach of the Government Guidelines hadn't been investigated by the Garda Siochana until the scent had gone dry? So when precisely do you think it should have happened? Christmas? Next Easter? 2025?

You knew the names because some other idiot took photos and stuck them on the web

You cannot just take photos of a list of names and stick them on the web without the approval of the person or the company

Did these people send out a official release saying they are attending this event?
Or did they give approval people could put their names on the internet?

I think you should google GDPR

My Dutch friend just sent me a link to Calleary resignation. He was saying their PM didn't visit his dying mother because it was against the rules at the time. That's setting an example. This government needs to go it's a shambles.

Had government figures not been so self righteous about house parties, Berlin Bar and travelling abroad, people would have some sympathy for these errors.

    No, they wouldn't!!

Bizarre thing to care about. Are you somehow affected by this?

And I'd wager every cent I have this isn't against GDPR whatsoever.

I wonder if many turned down the invitation, if they are a politician it was a shrewd move.

Agreed, GDPR broken my A$$, the dogs in the Street know who was in attendance as so the Gardai, name disclosure not an issue, personal details, contact numbers, DOB, address etc etc would be an issue

Is maith an scáthán súil charad.
