Amazon top up £80 get a fiver

    As it says, top up £80 and get a fiver on top. Think it's only for prime members though but check it out.

    Does it take a few days for the £5 to be applied?

    If you didn't see the button, I'd assume you weren't eligible.

    Ah, I would have thought it wouldn't have shown the banner. must have been a bug in the system. even customer support are telling me tough they won't honor the £5 so I made them refund it. nobody would convert real money to fake money without the incentive of a promotion. i'll be more wary next time as it's easy to do these things ona whim but then you waste 20 minutes chatting with india trying to fix it.

    If you didn't see the button, there's text midway down the page saying "sorry you're not eligible for this promotion". It's not very easy to spot it, just a slightly larger, bolded font.
