Unexpected OAP payment

    hey - My mother who is on OAP pension and getting paid every 2 weeks ( friday) received an additional payment on 4th Aug into her bank account - any idea what this is ?

    couple of hundred - less than 500 quid so pretty significant for a social payment.

    Not her electricity payment or anything then. Would it have been a delayed payment because of the bank holiday?

    No she already got paid on the 31st per norm - this payment came in on the 4th ; Actually now that you mention electricity payment I did fill in Utilities form in July for her as they were doing inventory perhaps it has something to do with this as she may not have been set up ?
