Disclaimer - this is my own car. Exactly a year to the day since I bought it, now want to get back in a 4wd.

And yes, I know the asking price is strong money, but having seen the amount of cars posted up here that people consistently think they'll get 2-300 off the price, I've factored that in to it ;)

I see the seller reckons their tax is extended due to Covid! Shows as taxed until March 2021
There is in fact no tax on it!

Cheers. I've viewed enough vehicles at this stage that were nowhere near as described, that I try to cover as much as I can so if anyone does call they have the full story.

I'd say there were a few upset 325i owners back in 2003 :D the car wasn't first registered till March, so the plate must have been reserved. 03D325 is a proper 6 cylinder alright, though in convertible guise.

It looks open in those pics, TBH I would walk if I saw a car like that, I’d presume it’s been in a big enough crash and not properly repaired

Have you owned it from new? (Genuine question)

No but did all the usual checks (Uk site and cartel) and also got a mechanic to give it the once over.

I'd adjust that and get new photos. The panel gaps do make it appear to be crash repaired (could be the lighting but the bumper looks resprayed too).

The bumper comes off for a timing belt, so could have happened then.

Maybe it’s just the pictures but I’m surprised a mechanic didn’t even comment that a panel gap like that is a cause for concern

I’m not trying to be negative here, just honest

A mechanic would need to put that car on a lift and inspect the sub frame to make sure the car has never been in a crash, that’s more than the usual ‘once over’
It’s possibly just a fender bender where the bonnet wasn’t properly realigned afterwards but I’d presume the worst unless I had documentation to show otherwise

Definitely had a front end smack, just how bad is the concern.

Nice car other then the big gaps and off colour bumper.

Thanks for all the feedback.......I have all the old MOT's / Service docs etc from the UK....the car had a full service history from an Audi dealer in Northampton, it was then imported into Ireland, the car was owned by a person I know and serviced locally by a friend of mine.....the bumpers (both back and front and the wing mirror covers are all a slightly off colour silver when compared to the rest of the body - I looked it up and its not unknown across older models) The gap on the front bonnet was probably due to the reason as outlined by Kenny previously and has been there since I owned it. The car is the 2L version and had an engine overhaul by a Audi specialist about 2 yrs after being imported (that version of the 2l did have engine problems ~2k was spent on the engine by the previous owner). Given that the engine has done ~80k miles since then, any further problems would have surfaced. Hope this clarifies the situation re whether the car had a smash or not. Now the conspiracy theorists out there could argue that the car had an unrecorded accident in the UK....

If you are taking new pictures push the front seats forward before taking a picture of the back seats, it looks like Fido Dido would struggle to fit in the back.

The problem is really that anyone with a keen eye probably just wont believe you. You'll have to wait for someone who wont take notice of it

Bit dear and probably not many people in the market for one, but this looks nice. The original K11 Micra was such a nice design IMO
