I have BB with vodafone and the landline, its fibre to the cabinet and yesterday the landline just went dead but BB is ok. I opened the scoket and a blue wire was disconnected, it had snapped but I connected it to L1, other blue and white is L2, S1 and S2 are spare, but still no landline. I did report it yesterday and guy said it may be exchaage work and line would come back on. Am I using the correct contact points?

Delayed response but the same pair carries both signals so if you had broadband then its not inside your house. Most likely somebody effed up at the cab.

So the wire you connected it to L1 was not required?
