Mi Max 3/Android and GoMo query

I'm on GoMo, my gf complains the calls are crap quality since I switched. It is probably GoMo but I was on 3 previously and they're the same network. Could my issue be a setting or setting change on my phone? if so would anyone know where I should looking

GoMo and 3 are not the same network, GoMo uses the Eir network. You probably have weak Eir signal in your area.
