win xp prob

fairly simiple prob to explain reely when a program is clicked on to use windows comes up that it cant find the program . infact this happens with any .exe program . eg try and open psp cannot be found but if i dubble click on a .jpg prg it will open up fine . any ids ?

i chked for virus's but came up with 0 found

Sound like a virus was improperly removed, without the registry being reinstated,
does it say"cannot find XXX, this file is needed to open files of type .exe"

Its either SWEN GIBE or yaha. Run the removal tool in safe mode with system restore disabled and it will restore your registry!
