Don't see too many Boras around these days especially ones that haven't been felted:

Looks really clean, even has the original wheel trim and has the ever green 1.9 TDi engine, asking €750 including just over a month's tax remaining:

Was just looking at that one about 20 mins ago. Looks very original alright
You'd think they would take those God awful things off the front seats for the pictures

Yeah I was a bit concerned when I saw them, hard to know where they on there by the previous owner of if the dealer put them on. If the previous owner had them on then what did the car look like before it was sold. Still probably looks too original to be hiding a secret life as a felter hopefully.

    If that. Who wants them?
They were €1200-1500 10 years ago.

I'd buy it just to smash the Fog lamps.....:P

    I'm totally lost here?
I thought that was about the Micra, but there are no fog lights on it?

Hi if there is anyone on here that lives near this car that could take a look at it for me save me a trip from Limerick. He is not showing passenger side of car or good interior pictures.if it's straight & drives well I would buy it. Thanks

Harvey gave Conor a new car, so he is getting rid of his 2004 Yaris
Taxed until November and NCT until March next year
No scrapes or bumps on it and had clutch done 2 years ago
Only 82,000 kms on it - Originally up for €1150 and now down at €700

Nice 04 Honda Jazz with a bit of tax to the end of next month
Little Christmas present too, the NCT is due on Christmas Day!
Has a good collection of previous NCT certs etc
Tinted windows, sunroof, double din stereo, lovely "alloys" held on with cable ties :D
Half tempted with this one myself. Would be very reliable runaround
    Asking €680

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,092 ✭✭✭✭Duke O Smiley

    Love those Jazz'

The later 08/09 of that model with the factory bodykit and alloys looked great.

They're a fantastic little car and IMO a better prospect than a Yaris (although not as insurance/tax friendly)

Cheap petrol (flexifuel) S40 claiming 67k miles and 1 previous owner, NCT til January and tax til November, €999

Could well be worth a look. Unfortunate graze on back nearside arch though

I have to be honest, I know nothing at all about these or what they are like
2008 Peugeot 407 1.7 petrol with NCT until next March and a few days tax, enough to drive it home
Just shy of 200,000 kms with 4 good tyres and new brake pads, nice leather interior
Asking price is €1200. Looks a nice clean car if it could be bought for close to a grand

    Another Mercedes A150
Front seats could do with a wipe, although I've seen a lot worse
NCT until March next year and 108,000 miles
    €990

Very nice S40. The 407 is very nice aswell. CRIndex at 136 and others rate the model as good overall. Apparently you get good ones and not so good ones. At age and milage this one is probably good. Check clutch and front suspension.

Cheapish octavia with a haggle low tax and probably bulletproof if not the bxe engine.
Would keep somebody going for a while :)

It's the 1.9 so she will just keep going. The 2.0 is the troublesome one.

Duke smiley lately was kind enough to check a car reg for me regarding an Octavia i was interested in and it came back with the infmaous Bxe engine.
Generally bulletproof but still a few survivors out there that might go bang on someone:pac:

Have not viewed the car but called him while on the hunt last month. That car has been up for sale for almost four months now. He told me his friend had completed all of the work so had no proof or receipts of recent work done re: timing belt and servicing during his ownership so you would need to take his word on that. Also crucially, no tow bar.

Complete brain fart, I was thinking of the 2.0 as it had issues too.

It's good the bxe in her has lasted as long...

Cheapish Civic, no tax details and photos aren't great, but looks pretty clean.

I’d drive that for the year and park it up somewhere. Bound to go up in value looking at the price of Bog standard 4 dr E10’s at the moment.

I believe the1.8 petrol is a great buy. Tax in low on this one, but what like are they in 2.2 diesel. Looks clean from pictures.
