Hi everyone, I have a quick networking query.

I want to add a USB storage device to my Eir F2000 modem so that I could use it as a type of server.... store movie files, etc on it that I could access from within my home network.

I have tried adding the drive but within the router settings I'm not able to configure it properly (I'm not sure of the Samba/FTP difference, etc) so that I can access it elsewhere as a server. Any ideas what to do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance.

I don't think it's possible on that modem
