ipad 3 (A1416 model) screen replacement

    Hi,

    My 2yo decided to post the ipad out the window at home today, screen now bust. :rolleyes:

    Can anyone recommend what to get and where to get the parts for DIY repair.

    Any link to ebay / amazon /other for reputable/ OEM parts?

    Presume I need a new glass/digitizer, unclear on home button / radio antenna. I have a set of small screwdrivers for laptop repair, but seems I need to heat adhesive to detach screen also right?

    Have you checked www.adverts.ie for people selling?
    I know that's where I place my apple stuff for sale including recently an iPad 3rd Gen.

    You may pick up a full iPad for spares but generally the screen is the first thing to go on them.
