partner.hotbar.com?

anyone know what this is.
turned on pc at home other day while it was dissconnected from internet and got loads of messages when i started something saying something like failed to deliver message to partners.hotbar.com

anyone know what it is or how to get rid of it?

Updatre your anti-virus run it.
If it's clear run ad-adaware see what that brings up.

i think it's spyware cos when i run spybot it runs through the names of the spyware and i think i saw this popping up

following instructions above if that doesn't get rid of it download spybot search & destroy from www.download.com

Its malware/spyware. A simply search on google groups will give you all the info you need to deal with this little pest. You should get a copy of Adaware - make sure it has the latest definitions - then run it. You'll probably find that you will have a new toolbar as part of IE if you do a full reboot.
