    Hi All,

I'm working of an older iMAC from work. Its about 5 years old with an old spinner HD. Its painfully slow, even with 16gb of Ram and and an i5 processor. I don want to take off the screen but was thinking of making a bootable SSD drive for the OS and software.

Any advice on what sort of Caddy I should go for so that I can maximise the speed. Should it be USB 3.0 or Thunderbolt?

    Cheers Folks

Thunderbolt (USB 3.1) as it has a higher data throughput than USB 3.0.
