CISSP == Masters!

    Yeah, that's a no from me. CISSP is tough alright, but it's all just rote learning without ever going deep on any particular topic. A masters, particularly a research masters, involves a certain amount of rote learning (depending on what course modules you have to do), but also has a lot of hands on learning with lab work, assignments, etc. And then you have a research thesis on top of that. It can take 2 years to achieve a research Masters going at it full-time. You could put the work in for CISSP in 6 months while also working full time. That's no slight against CISSP btw. I think when it comes to jobs, a CISSP will be more valuable to some roles than a Masters... and visa verse.
