Ordered yesterday and it said 2 weeks. When I switched address to PM it was, 2 days.
    Can't figure it out.
    I have prime

Same here, ordered on Monday 11th, due on the 22nd for delivery here (11 days), changed to Parcel Motel, due today.

I'm currently onto Amazon about this. I've been paying for Prime for 2 years, but I'm not going to keep paying for it when I'm waiting 10 days for them to dispatch my parcel and it's still 2 day delivery to NI for the same item...

Is it likely to get much more difficult following Brexit?
Or will they set up an Amazon.ie?

bought a bike on decathlon - delivered in 5 days even through a bank holiday, was very impressed.
bought a pump for said bike on the same day, still not here 14 days later. Prime member and all!

    Pump is badly needed.

You do realise that everyone and their cousin worldwide are ordering online at the moment?i would think Amazon and delivery companies are doing their best and a little patience and understanding is needed by some people.
And Amazon are warning people at every purchase that non priotity items go to the back of the delivery queue.

That doesn't explain why it takes the same item 1 day to be dispatched to NI and 7 days to Ireland.

Exactly this. An item I ordered on 7 May hasn't been dispatched yet. Estimated delivery date is now 19 May. When I change my address, I can order it right now and have it delivered to Antrim in 2 days.

Someone made a policy decision to stop priority dispatch for Irish Prime customers, I wanted to know why this happened and why I'm still being charged full price for a service I'm not getting.

Yes - not out of luxury but because the government decided to close down everything with little time for people to prepare. The least the government could have done is ensure the necessary support to delivery companies at this time.

Has anyone tried getting a refund from Amazon for their not adhering to their own 2 day delivery to Ireland in light of the quick delivery of same item to NO?

Same here, bit longer than usual. What is really annoying me lately and I don't know is it related to covid19 but I signed up to prime a few weeks ago and it seems now (a lot more than ever happened in the past) say I order 5 items all prime shipped from Amazon Eu, they are coming in 5 different packages. It's costing me a fortune in parcelmotel fees. Going to cancel prime membership as it's not really saving me any money.

Rare enough that you need PM with Prime, you can often see what warehouse things are coming from, so order them like that.

I ordered some headphones - they came yesterday in an Amazon prime box, but i just went with standard delivery - however, i was waiting 7 days for dispatch. I'm not sure how one gets Prime. Is it a subscription?

Anyone ordered electronics from Amazon uk since the lockdown? Did it take you a long time to get your order?

I ordered some headphones a few days ago but it hasn't even been dispatched - used standard delivery too.

What's your estimated delivery date? I ordered stuff (not electronic), estimated date was 5-7 may, it shipped on 4th and arrived on 6th. Another order I made didn't arrive, sender had no tracking info so they refunded me within 2 days.

Things are taking a little longer, I understand that when ordering though so no big deal. Everything I've ordered comes on or before the estimated delivery date so can't complain really. I'm a prime customer too.

Ordered 3 books on 10th May.

    Arrived today, 13th.
    NI address.

    Can't complain about that.
    Not a Prime member either.

ordered coffee and phone accessories on 5th May, arriving tomorrow. I have prime. Not too bothered by delays - just glad that the service is still there.

I also think there may be delays on an posts side due to volume - our postman is really busy.

This is it, I'm finding the same and also using prime, though one thing did arrive a day early yesterday. Not a big deal for me anyway.

I only use Parcel Motel when seller won’t ship to Ireland or charges a fortune for the privilege.
Why get Amazon deliveries sent there?

Did you get anywhere with them? I asked the same question today and surprisingly they couldn’t answer! Ended up cancelling prime...

I cancelled a phone off amazon.co.uk, initially it said 5 days delivery but 10 days later it still hadn't dispatched. Ordered off three instead and the same thing seems to be happening...

I ordered something from Amazon on the 4th May. Was delivered today by DPD.

I am also a Prime customer but the majority of lead times on items I have looked at to be delivered is about 10 days now.

A lot of stuff I order lately (electronics, tools, food) won't ship to Ireland. "seller won't ship to this address" or something like that pops up. I've noticed this a lot more since Brexit. Don't know is it related.

well, the delay on my package is nothing to do with Amazon. got a notice in my amazon account that DPD couldn't deliver to me today, (like, I'm here, with nowhere to go?) When i checked the tracking, my order was dispatched by amazon on the 6th, and arrived in Athlone on the 7th.

So DPD have had it since last Thursday, it wasn't scheduled for dispatch to me until yesterday and they failed to deliver it today.

I complained about the much longer dispatch times for Irish orders and they said they would refund me for 3 months of prime.
