Ronan family vs the Campbell Family. Neither could care less about the little people or even the people who work for them.

Back in the aulden daze de Quakers, Bewleys, did very much care about staff. As did Pinms etc. All these places were in vogue when I was a young chiseler in the 60s. Great memories.

the kind of banter you'd hear anywhere

Exactly! when no-one is listening, a group of friends or family say things they wouldn't say publicly. Add in a few drinks and things get said, who gives a sh1te?

Would the Parisians stand by while they knocked down the Eiffel Tower? Only if they wanted 300,000 tonnes of cast iron on their heads

Few lads round here would take it away for them no problem

It will be a symbol of The Resistance and a beacon of hope to future generations while we work to overcome the foreign invaders.

Large numbers of people are getting the 350 covid payment(no offense to anyone getting it). Some people think the governement's pockets are bottomless.

    Nationalise Air Lingus
    Nationalise Bewleys

Half the feckin country has been nationalised at this stage, and then we wonder why we don't have decent infrastructure.

Paul Murphy on The Pat Kenny show looking to re-nationalise Aer Lingus was the funniest bit of radio I've heard in a long, long time. You should look it up.
