We have a new Chaser. And he's Irish
He was once a contestant on the show and now ITV quiz The Chase has recruited Irish scientist Darragh Ennis as their new chaser.
A former student at NUI Maynooth, Darragh is now a post-doctoral researcher at Oxford University and joins long-established chasers The Beast and The Governess in the popular gameshow, which sees a team of four contestants vying for big money in a battle of wits. He will make his debut later this year.

Not really.

I kinda enjoyed the different Chase there.

Unsure about the offers that they’re giving but it’ll eventually fall into people taking what they earned in their cash builder and trying to win that.

Don't think too much of this..

Sinha may get a chance to show his comedic chops..

One small complaint is it feels a little bit dragged out per person.

However the normal chase has 4 guests so I’d assume this is similar.

Editing could probably allow for a lot more contestants.

i think its good but too much faffin about and wasted time with the offers... and then theyve just wasted 5 minutes gwtting the lifestory of a person for them to get knocked out on the first frickin question. Needs severe editing to maintain interest i think.

A former winner and Mastermind semi finalist. This could get interesting.

Hope she does it now.

It’s ITV so I should have expected that but quiz shows and cliffhangers is not a TV device I’m a fan of.

Just as they got a good one too.

I expected it to be better.

Still enjoyed it as a one off weekly alternative. Can't beat the original.

First (and possibly last!) "normal" contestant.

Really thought she might do it, she was brilliant.
