I Want Some 'Budget' Keyboards ..... Or?

Two finger tapper, here. Finger nails like pick axe heads. I'm the nemesis of keyboards! I dig the characters off the keys.

I really need to buy, like, half a dozen very cheap, basic boards. On line. " Disposable ", basically. Because I wreck them, in short order. And I just can't access 'Town', to grab a replacement.

OR

Could it be worth me shelling out, maybe three ton, for one of these ATM type, steel keyed things. Waterproof and able to withstand what ever? (Preferably with a commensurate guarantee!)

Any ideas

On my Dogs lives; I bought a fresh set of nail clippers only Yesterday! :P

Doesn't help though. It must be the angle I naturally hold my fingers? I dig down at the keys.

Biko; I bought some, all singing, all dancing, Laser Etched thing, from a specialist keyboard company. Cost me a couple of ton, or there abouts. Kiddie swore to me This was the One.

That 'One' is now on a shelf, in my store room. Beaten and laid waste to, like a ravaged whore

And, I've tried everything else. Varnish. Stuck in bits of paper. Dremeling the characters in. Filling those with paint ..... Lost cause.

I'll look at that site for the ATM ones though. I'd really love to talk to anyone with hands on experience of those things.

Or, if anyone just knows where I can get half a dozen, el cheapo ones?

If you do such amount of typing you must be good to "blind" typing already - no need for letter marking

Funny ye should say gloves, Smuggler. Because I'd been genuinely wondering if a pair of those rubber thimbles bank workers wear, to count notes, might do the trick!

Wow! Biko, I never even imagined such things existed! :eek:

They're for a Cherry kb? Guess what my ridiculously expensive one was / is! (As long as I didn't fry that one with spilt tea? Another Big reason I'd consider the outrageous cost of a full, ATM type, sealed unit)

But, that's only eight keys? I'm basically missing my entire run of: ertyuiop. sfh and l are fading fast too.

But, yeah. Hell Yeah! Steel keys, at a tiny fraction of the cost of a full metal jacket ....? :cool:
