Laptop for simple work

    I was wondering if anyone could pease give me a steer.

    My mother is looking to get a laptop which she can work on from home. This will just involve internet surfing and email, maybe some marking up of documents. Nothing complicated or intensive.

    Separately, I am interested in buying the new Age of Empires Definitive Edition so would like the laptop to be able to also run that reasonably well.

    Could anyone please recommend a laptop available online that would be suitable for the above? Ideally in the 400-500 euro range.
