    Poor Eccles. :(

If they hooked her up with the right fella they could be another comedy couple to watch like Curley Watts and Raquel were back in the day

Well they did ask her to mind the dog!

Boards on my phone has changed format. I used to be able to see a whole post without scrolling for miles left and right. Anyone else gave this?

Yeah. Thought it was just me.

Who owns the community centre? Surely not the Nazirs? Especially when Sharif did a flit with all their money and them owning a house and restaurant even after losing the gym.

Yasmeen's face dropped suddenly when she was crouched putting that case away; I could have sworn she'd spotted that bloody camera. I'm looking forward o seeing how large the yoke is that nobody saw it in a position of good viewing in the living room for the bones of a year.

I also notice that gigantic photo of Yasmeen's son Kal is gone from the stairs.

I like Emma too and wish they did more with her character. She handled the storyline of her Dad's death very well. She deserves far better than David/Chesney/Seb. I agree with Casio, matching her up with the right person could make for great viewing.

Surely a vet would not put pressure to operate on the dog immediately!
He could have said, take Eccles home and tell the owner to call me to discuss.
They didn't even know at that stage that the one tumour had spread.

Emma is lovely, one of the nicest characters and she deserves decent story lines. I fast forwarded through the vet scenes, it brought back too many sad memories of losing our own fur baby.

Yes, we saw Dev take it tonight, very briefly.

Good ole Dev the dog sitter and why had Emma, Eccles?

Eccles was originally Blanche's dog wasn't she?

poor Emma, she sits there making decisions under stress about someone else's dog and they all swan in (Tracy being her usual bitchy self and accuses her of maltreating the dog) and then ignore her and listen intently to what the vet has to say.

I could not understand Steve telling her to go home by herself while the rest of them gathered around the vet to hear what he had to say. Surely one of them could have empathised with how she was feeling, especially after she was put in the position of making that traumatic decision about poor Eccles? :(

Why was Emma blamed by Ken and Tracy for the dog getting sick, stupid

Yazmeens meet up with the police was ridiculous. She didn't ask any questions when the police told her the woman Geoff was arguing with had previously reported him for harassment. She could have asked for the back story to that but she didn't bother. She basically brought the police there to tell them nothing was wrong. A complete waste of time.

I think it's little steps. And it's showing the slow awakening of Yasmeen.

I don't think the stretching out of episodes is helping. I get the feeling some episodes should be the double one. The pause to next day is very abrupt. So it's stretching out the issues and kind of ruins the context a bit.

At this stage i hope Geoff strangles Yazz......

Why was Emma only trying to ring Ken , but then the whole clan arrive at once....has she not got their numbers...

Whatever about Tracey that was out of character for Ken.

And where were they all that Eccles couldn't go with them?

I always find that they are VERY quick to throw blame and accusations around on Coronation Street, often with hardly any evidence. Ken has done it plenty of times in the past too. You'd expect nothing less of Tracey.

Saying that, I would have held off another day on the operation until I could get hold of one of Eccles devoted family.

Who’s liable for the Vet’s bill, that’ll be another drama!

The entire episode was rushed. Also, didn't Dev refer to Eccles as Rover? Seems odd when Eccles is only the second dog on the street - uncharacteristic for the UK in general and Manchester specifically, where dogs are a lot more welcome and common than over here.

We don't know where Ken et al were. Why did they go straight to the vets rather than just ringing Emma back.

A rushed, badly thought out episode. Also, very sad. Considering current events, they really should have cut the Eccles drama.

Just watched it this morning, I thought that maybe she just realised that he hid a getaway suitcase in the press for a quick escape - its slowly dawning on her

Now Geoff knows about the leaflet she had in her handbag I reckon he will get worse - he all but locked her in the house taking her keys with him

That was her suitcase. You saw her put it into the press.

Rover is Steve’s dog that Dev was carrying around as he was minding it for the day.

is it not unusual for them both to have a press each with a key each in their sitting room? how come Yazmeen isn't suspicious about his press where he is hiding money from the restaurant? He will have seen her put that suitcase in her press through the hidden camera

It’s bordering on “Jeremy Beadle” territory now!

I actually found Tracy's reaction very normal for Tracey. I'd find it strange if she acted all nice to Emma.
