I've changed my mind on Patrick. Might be a good egg after all. Regan I dunno... Gonna get the laptop set up and start looking again.

Wow. This thread is moving fast. I'll be around tonight after dinner and after I catch up on what looks to be 5/6 pages.

So I've done my reads list and I've had a really close look at the thread and noticed that plenty of people seem to think they're either useless or a strategy

So, my current top suspects for wolf are:

Brendan - Raises idea that some are angling for lynch in relation to TCM but doesn't name names. Raises booby-trap. Subtly pockety (inc me ). Justifying keeping vote to self when no need to.
Keeps bringing up booby-trap bomb and saying how we shouldn't lynch people with bombs. Trying to prevent a Des/Regan lynch? Did TCM target a wolf Day 1? Says he 'couldn't' vote Emily because of a flimsy reason and says Henry was fallback after Patrick started talking but later says Gabriel was on his radar due to Randall Flagg gif. Today is willing to give votes out and says we should organise (something I said last night). Less focus on the booby trap bomb today.

Des - Had bomb Day 1. Didn't die. So Flagg or fake or defused. Went after Regan hard as being defuser-wrong obvs. Asked to be defused in casual way - didn't demand it. Responded to Nigel's post about bomb - seemed to think Nige saying that Des is Flagg. Nigel seems confused by lack of mod announcement of defusing - (Am currently reading it that *if* Nigel did defuse a bomb it was more likely Regan's but need to read Nigel's posts again) Do Des & Brendan interact at all? Doesn't want FFAs now as wolves can act on it. Also brings up booby-trap bomb again. So yesterday Brendan wants to keep votes quite and brings up booby-trap bomb. Today, Des doesn't want to FFA and brings up booby-trap bomb. Think they're a team.

Barbara - Very few posts but those few seem to indicated a player who is on the ball. Definite potential for low-lying wolf here.

Eva - definitely potential helpful wolf.

Placed a vote a while ago, but didn't note the exact time so I am going to vote again now.

Who would Nigel have not defused a bomb ?

Given the Katie situation seems to be a genuine case of just being busy, I'll put them to one side for the time being.

    I'll be voting elsewhere tonight.

Look I pointed out where Nigel showed that the bomb would have gone off and so must be defused. If I am lynched because I think free for alls are pro wolf in a format that has secret voting that's grand. But don't lynch me because you think a bomb defuser didn't bother his hole defusing a bomb when he was active in thread and then said that it must have been defused.

Desmond I don't think you responded to my questions earlier did you? Apologies if I missed it but would like your opinion on it

What questions, I'm swamped at work trying to not scream at couriers who thinm that decade long agreements go down the tubes when there extra money to be made.
Link or re ask of you can and I'll answer when I gets chance.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 2,716 ✭✭✭Desmond WW

The reason I didn't demand the defuser didn't save me was stated that I'm busy at work and soon after Regan told me that my bomb was fake anyway.

Since I started playing we on boards I have also played on other forums and secret voting is always seen as anti wolf while on thread voting is seen as pro wolf. The idea that wolves won't work on thread to avoid being seen to group together and that they won't be counting up all the info they can get is simply wrong.

Village always turns on itself on day two, I mean the idea that Eva or Phil are not lock clear is another mental one. Lynch me if it's needed but look at the people starting the wagon and also at my the names on my long post from earlier. All I see is wolves circling and auto priest means their lies will be revealed nice and quick.

That's what I've discussed with Wendy and sought clarification for. If you read those interactions, and my post since then about low posters, you'd see some things were cleared up but Derry is still a mild concern to me as a low posters, Just one in a group of them.

I meant Wini here. Not the first time I've gotten those names confused in WW (WiniWendy).

Have you contributed enough to have your mind made up in the first place? Yes, please get your laptop. I've mine here now, so will look at your posts so far...

Frank seems neutral/good to me so far. Not much posted but problem solving.

Regan/Patrick giffing is vaguely annoying but harmless

Henry catching up. Neutral for now.

Riona one post catching up, shades Senan but no follow up at all. Not really liking that.

Wini thinks Gerty and Eva being too helpful, steve lynched to make frank seem bad. Interesting theory.

Phil links Regan/Patrick as Flagg/Nadine. This could be an amazing spot if true. Fits the source material, there's no village version of them. I like this a lot. Phil leaning village for me.

Jake calls for Eva to be shot out of nothing. Tree shaking probably, neutral

Orla is LOCK CLEAR village, to me at least.

Barbara thinks not diffusing is dumb. Goes for jake. nothing really, neutral

Derry, fluff and talk about a previous role. Neutral so far.

Clodagh focused on Trash Can Man mechanics. Get a slight wiff of Sk hiding in plain sight here. wouldn't be opposed to a vig shot here but thats just my style.

Kaite early vote for wendy, thinks their theory is forced. Further investigation

Isla fluff and a minor tiff, need to go back

Thats all I have so far. Have to say I like phils theory. Will be voting for one of those two hoping we can confirm or disprove it.

That's decent tbf, though I appear to be missing from the list.

So, you've changed your mind on the Patrick giffing? As a village we've long moved on from yesterday's giffing with Patrick/Regan. I think you've been skirting by relatively unnoticed Orla, and apart from one decent post above I'm getting non-villager vibes from your activity.

You popped up this morning to make one post about Glen being dead and asking Gert for info, then nothing until this evening when lynch deliberations will pick up.

No one can tell what goes on in between the person you were and the person you become. No one can chart that blue and lonely section of hell. There are no maps of the change. You just … come out the other side. Or you don’t.

Indeed, but that was quite the pocketing attempt on Eva the emerging village leader earlier now that I see it. Maybe old Katie could have simply been a villager who was under-pressure IRL, but Katie should still be watched IMO in case there were genuine reasons to try to pocket someone who is emerging as an apparent village leader.

Welcome aboard new Katie btw, and sorry your new skin has some unanswered questions which have nothing to do with you.

What are you talking about lumping my name in with trying to start a wagon on you? I asked you why you repeatedly stated on thread you thought Regan was the diffuser and then out right asked her. Why would you keep saying it and out her if she had of been, that's what I want to now?

I've questioned a lot of people today, you're not special Desmond. And who said that I or Eva was lock clear? Where are you even getting that from?

so regarding yesterdays bombs. its no biggie, one of them was defused. the other was a dud. just no announcement to that effect.

This game has decided it, I'm starting a re-read once I'm done in this game. Too good indeed.

Anyway...I replied to those few things you raised earlier, if you get a chance to reply to it.

My head is fried now I don't know where to even begin. Fair enough not posting who we're voting for but why would we not do FFAs? Eveyone is just stating that they've voted but there's been barely any real discussion challenging people today and there's absolutely nothing to refer back to say when we do flip a wolf, they won't have done an FFA and potentially name one of their own in it.

What exactly are we supposed to work off after this lynch?
