OffGamers offer cards as small as 300Y which is about 3 euro.

As mentioned Doom 1 and 2 are reduced to €1.50 each and Doom 3 is €3.00; all for Switch. It would be frankly rude and insulting if you didn't buy them for this price!!! Doom 64 is apparently coming in March also.

Doom 64 is out now yeah? What's it like?

    €3.72 on South Africa store

Great. The port is Nightdives usual excellent work. Pity you can't rebind the individual weapons on Switch or PS4 like you can on PC and Xbox(due to kb & m support) though

Nice one... it's the only Doom I've never played.

My Switch Lite is becoming a Doom machine.. I might add some decals to it :D

The Guilty Gear games are both 100 Yen (about 85c) on the Japanese eShop

Why are Nintendo games so expensive? If you've an Xbox it's free with GP or cheaper on PS4. It's a game you'd need a tv for imo.

Think it's the last day of that too. All the FF games are discounted it seems.

I keep on drifting past those games and see FFX/X-2 for cheap and almost spring for it... before remembering that I hate X.

Amazon seem to have some Switch Lites that should arrive before that date. Given the current circumstances, who knows when stocks will be back to normal?

If you are worried about stock replenishing before then, you could order from a German site.

    For example
    https://www.saturn.de/de/product/_nintendo-switch-neon-rot-neon-blau-neue-edition-2584585.html
    https://www.mediamarkt.de/de/product/_switch-neon-rot-neon-blau-neue-edition-nintendo-switch-konsolen-2584585.html
    https://www.otto.de/p/nintendo-switch-neues-modell-941579551/#variationId=941579552

And if they don't offer delivery to Ireland use a virtual address like mailboxde.com or mygermany.com (parcel motel/parcel wizard type service) and get it delivered to them. They may also have bundle offers etc.. I didn't check.

Would you have any knowledge how long orders from Germany normally take? I know we're in different times but I'm weighing up the pros and cons myself here of pulling the trigger

MS and Sony are sacrificing profit to try and get you onto their ecosystem. TBH I prefer the Nintendo way. IMO GamePass and the likes are going to cheapen the whole industry and cause developers to struggle to make ends meet. so they'll end up focussing on what they think will make the most profit (think loot boxes and F2P games). I'd rather 3 good games at €50 a pop than 100s of games I'll barely play for €50 a year.

Plus you get the thrill of finding a game at a bargain price on Switch :D

They struggle to make money because it cost millions to make a new Assassins Creed, Halo, etc. where as most of Nintendo's games are copy and paste for a mil or two. I just think it's mental Nintendo games are still full price years later.

And then they end up free on GamePass for next to nothing... It must be on the same tracks now as the music industry was 10 (?) years ago. The streaming industry has killed the album/song sale industry and now musicians have to rely on touring and merch sales.

Anyway, this isn't about bargains so I'll leave it there. Just my 2c on the subject (which you can have for free so that's kinda a bargain right? :D)
