Also how does boiler link to portion? Genuinely don't see the link but given my success rate so far that's not surprising ;)

    Where'd you get boiler?

    103.8 was a great clue

Yeah, I was trying to fit something along that theme in there but couldn't think how.

Mine was drive. As in, "let's go for a spin". It was a risk, but thought it might tie other more obvious clues together.

    Well done aaron!

Cheers. I didn't know that 103.8 was Spin tbh, but that combined with Rotate were a great combination. Was definitely thinking along your train of thought too

Never even heard of a Spin Magazine

Don't mind me I'm clearly losing my mind... Boiler was one of the possible answers in my head not one of the clues.

    As you were

Wasn’t sure if you were from Dublin or not but decided to risk it. Alternative was going rotate or turntable etc. Figured something like that would probably be covered.

On a side note this is essentially our practice round team so we will learn from our mistakes :)

Yeah, this was just a trial run, we're ready for the real game now

It’s kind of weird guessing. Cause I was thinking sometimes of going more obscure but then with duplicates maybe only your obscure word is left.

Like with penny my first word was going to be black. As in the stamp. And was sure someone or a few would say coin or something. So thought farthing might be guessed even on it’s own.

Was thinking Lancaster either. Probably should have done that :D

I think the likes of black is too wide, it could tie in with so many words. So its ok if you get three other words but if you get one other you're f**ked

G&R, you gonna tell us if lassyk's guess is right or not? We're all desperately waiting to hear what a Crelax is...

What on earth is a crelax?

Apologies that C snuck in there

    Clues should be

    relax; Sofa; Sit; Table

Would you like to stick with your guess or nominate a new word?

Hmmm I don't know if furniture is right but I'm not at my sharpest at this time of night (see my boiler escapade as proof) so I'll just stick with furniture
