Wordpress Client Portal - covid-19

Hi guys,
Speaking to a personal trainer who is struggling with the current covid-19 lockdown. He was hoping to move some his business online. Ideally what he is looking for is a client portal plugin. Happy to pay for the plugin to get the right one.

I suppose all that is needed really is something that allows private pages to be created and protects any uploads that might be attached to those private pages from being accessed through the file system.

Any recommendations for a client portal that might be suitable for this? I have done a google but interested to see if anyone has first hand experience.

There are various membership plugins that will do this pretty much out of the box.

https://wordpress.org/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/ is one I have worked with - not an endorsement - but it was pretty straight forward to work for as a developer.
