Oh I think we've gone from a 20% to about a 60-70% chance that Trump attempts to cancel the elections if the crisis deepens over the summer (and in the US, it is going to get pretty horrific over the next few months due to lack of testing and healthcare availability).

But, and this is a big but, they will absolutely make sure that the above situation (if correct) is not the case prior to any announcement, by forcing it through the courts that Trump remains in office. If this occurs, do not expect to see any future date on elections given in 2021.

If they are unable to do this, you can expect some extremely violent outbreaks across the US and even more open calls for terrorism and ignoring the rule of law from the Republican party (which they have already done on multiple occasions over the Trump presidency, the cover his incompetence gives them is absolutely invaluable).

The above scenario will also be the case if coronavirus is somehow completely wrapped up and gone by the summer, but the stock market remains through the floor.

This virus could kill off Trump's re-election hopes.

He is doing such a bad job of it so far. He has to get tough in the fight against it in the upcoming announcement, blaming Europe is not a solution. It is already rampant in the US.

    Speaking now

    Wow. Talk about pivoting.

    This is propaganda. Straight up.

    He sounds rough as hell.

He started off by congratulating himself and has pretty much continued in that vein. National emergency declared. Stock market tanking.

He's giving a lot of power to HSS to set aside present legislation but still allow people to refuse to take a virus test. I guess that involves personal "ethic" claims which will avoid his V/P going to court to keep their rights. The "it'll pass" virus mantra. The emergency declaration allows HSS to take over facilities as it sees necessary to kill off the virus. He gave Dr Brix and Dr Fauci plenty of room but did not invite the HSS secretary to the rostrum. The emergency declaration is a temporary waiver of the regulations.

‘There’ll be five million test kits available to Americans within a month.... I doubt we’ll need that many’

    There are 330 million Americans

    He’s on drugs.

He started saying that Google were developing a fast website, not like the websites of old. Anyone got even the slightest insight into what he was on about there?

The guy can't make sense reading from a teleprompter. The ad lib stuff is obviously an absolute car crash.

He has been getting away with flogging sh1tty condos and blagging his way through golf outings most of his adult life. He hasn't figured out that this kind of nonsense doesn't work on the world stage.

Incredible self delusion on his part.

A farce to all who are watching.

If the stock markets crashed after his last broadcast...

Elect a clown... Expect a circus

I saw someone say it was a swipe at ACA websites.

"They can do what they have to do so they don’t have any trouble getting it done"

    Fair enough.

He shook hands with nearly every one of the speakers he asked up. That’s some mixed messaging right there!

As do many, many things to occur under this administration, if we're honest.

Dr. Deberah Brix must be grinding her teeth listening to this crap everyone has to go through, licking up to Trump.
All there doing here mainly is rolling out a test. Not sure why an American version had to be made.
State of Emergency is a help.

Seriously? He should already be in quarantine after the number of virus-carriers he's been in contact with.

If some would imply those critical of Trump suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, the man himself is obsessed about Obama. Utterly obsessed. Makes derangement syndrome look like apathy.

And to think, all this because Obama mocked him at the correspondents dinner ... back in 2011 wasn't it?

Obama is the only reason Trump ran for the presidency, from that time Obama said Trump would never be president.
He is obsessed by the man.

Dr Brix gives the US a comparable rate of Virus affected persons to that of South Korea, 4%. That's higher than Dons 1% from last week. A stupid attempt to shoot down a question about something he did by commenting on the reporters past employer, the shoot-down assisted by another reporter.

Reporter:Another person he doesn't know, never met, had hundreds take photos with him. 2nd reporter coming back with a rebound hard question , response "I will probably get a test".
