I expect to see a much improved second half. COYG

Delaney definitely doesn’t like Arsenal fans. Has had none stop digs at the fans the whole time he’s been on screen. Cliched stuff most of the time too.

What do we have to do to get a freekick off this bo$$ix!

As Arsenal fans we should never expect anything good from officials.

About time. Nketiah was very poor.
    Would have preferred Martinelli.

How in the name of **** was that not a penalty, he could have got the corona virus he was hanging off him for so long

    Yay for VAR

This is what's wrong with VAR. It's a clear and obvious goal, why do they take so long? They really don't like overruling an on-field decision

Puts us right back in the mix if it stays this way.

VAR gives us the goal! 1-0

Tried their best to rule it out. **************’s

Why do our ****ing defenders constantly let attackers back them into the box, ****ing does my head in

Not a great performance but an important 3 pts with the matches tomorrow, not many standout players but was very impressed with Ceballos, he's still lacking a bit with his final ball but joined the defence to attack very well.

    CL still a slight hope

That was nervy, I don't want to get my hopes up though I'm pretty sure top 4 is impossible. Absolute joke checking VAR so long, those refs checking it really hates arsenal.

Played poorly and won. All that matters is the result.
    We need vast improvement though.
Lost far too many 50/50 challenges and passing was poor.
    Three great points.

3 points off 5th not too bad

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,475 ✭✭✭KaiserGunner

Just happy for the win. Puts us back right in the mix for a top 4 place. I thought the performance was awful though. West Ham had the better chances and will feel hard done by. Defense was all over the shop all day. Leno with a few vital saves kept us in it.

Jesus christ VAR was the difference between us winning and drawing the match today and everybody is on here pissing and moaning about it because it took a couple of minutes to get right a marginal decision. Last year we draw the game and everybody is pissed off that they missed an onside goal. No pleasing some people.

Anyway, another awful performance, we should have lost that one, our defense is getting away with murder and we create very little at the moment.

It's a strange one, our results are getting better but i think our performances are getting worse, surely can't continue. Can't imagine Man City will let us away with that type of performance.

Did you watch the match? It wasn't marginal. It was clear he wasn't offside the first time VAR checked it, but they still kept checking and checking. It's well worth a moan.

You come on here saying there is no pleasing people because we expect VAR to get an easy decision made in under 5 mins, but then go on to moan about the whole Arsenal performance after a win and how city won't let our defence away with it when we we play them

    Irony anyone?

Yeah, I think 4th is probably gone. It's not inconceivable, but would need a lot of teams to miss up for that to happen. 5 points behind with 10 games left to play

I wouldn't rule out 4th or 5th chelsea have been awful at times aswell they'll definitely drop more points

Yeah looking at our 10 remaining matches it’s looking like a tall order tbh.

    Man City (a)
    Brighton (a)
    Norwich (H)
    Wolves (a)
    Leicester (H)
    Spurs (a)
    Liverpool (H)
    Villa (a)
    Watford (h)
Southampton (a) yet to be rescheduled.

6 away games there and our away form has been abysmal the last 3 seasons. Top 4 a possibility alright, but going to take some effort and a higher quality of performance to do it.

In our current form, you'd be a pretty optimistic to see us getting top 4 from there in fairness. Ouch!

Agree. 5th place would be a real achievement considering how tight things are in the top half.

Great to see laca score today. Took his goal well and MO deserves credit for his assist. Kept his head and did the right thing.

    Big test against ****ty...

I assume nobody here wants 5th anyway. If so we'll end up with Thursday night football again
